Terms of use

Version 2026-10-20.2. These terms are an agreement between LTS Forge LLC ("LTS Forge", "we") and the firm and each person who uses Pre-Con Assist ("you"). By creating an account, joining a firm's account or using the service, you accept them.

1. What Pre-Con Assist is

An assist tool for early sizing. Nothing it produces is signed, sealed or stamped, and it isn't engineering of record, a delegated-design submittal or a shop drawing. It sizes the vertical mullions, jambs and horizontals and estimates anchor loads; continuity, cantilevers, buckling, torsion, door loads, glass strength, anchor and embed capacity, and seismic or thermal movement are left to final engineering by the delegated-design engineer after award.

Pre-Con Assist is an assist tool for early, preliminary sizing. Nothing it produces, on screen, in a draft, in an issued report or in an engineer review memo, is signed, sealed or stamped, and none of it is engineering of record, a delegated design submittal, a shop drawing or a certification. A check by LTS Forge looks over the inputs and results before a report is issued. It is not an engineering design. Final design is by the delegated design engineer after award.

2. Engineer review (optional, paid)

A firm can order an engineer review of a project for the fee shown before it is sent, set by the number of elevations. An engineer at LTS Forge reviews the inputs and results and writes guidance in a review memo. The memo is preliminary guidance for design coordination. It is not signed, sealed or stamped, it is not engineering of record or a delegated design submittal, and it does not relieve the design team of its own responsibilities. A project returned with comments goes back to the engineer under the same order at no charge, as long as the job has not grown. A paid review cannot be withdrawn on the site once it has been paid for.

3. Your responsibilities

Results depend entirely on the dimensions, wind, code and other information you enter. When LTS Forge sets a project up from drawings you upload, you are responsible for checking every elevation and criterion it entered, each shown with the sheet it came from, before you confirm it. You are responsible for that information and for checking every result against the drawings, the specifications, the engineer of record's criteria and the code that applies to the project. You will not present any result as engineering of record, a sealed calculation or a delegated design submittal, and you will not rely on it for construction, fabrication, procurement or pricing.

4. No warranty

The service, its results, reports and review memos are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non infringement. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

5. LTS Forge assumes no liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, LTS Forge LLC, its members, managers, employees, engineers and contractors assume no liability for any loss, damage, cost, claim, delay, redesign, rework or injury arising from or related to the service, its results, reports or review memos, or your use of or reliance on any of them, whether in contract, tort, negligence or any other theory, even if we were told such a loss was possible. This includes indirect, incidental, special, consequential and punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue and lost data. If, despite these terms, LTS Forge is found liable for anything, its total liability is limited to the fees you paid to LTS Forge in the 12 months before the claim arose.

6. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless LTS Forge LLC, its members, managers, employees, engineers and contractors from any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) brought by anyone, including the owner, the design team, contractors and their insurers, arising from your use of the service, the information you entered, or any use of a result, report or review memo on a project.

7. Fees and payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, per the plan and seats on your account, and renew each month until cancelled. To start, your firm pays a deposit of 50% of the first month before the account is switched on; the balance of the first month is due at the end of the first month. If your firm cancels during the first month, the first month is prorated to the days the account was switched on: any deposit beyond that is refunded or credited, and any shortfall is invoiced. Engineer reviews are paid before the review starts, or invoiced when online payment is not used. Invoices are due within 15 days of the invoice date unless the invoice states otherwise. Fees are not refundable except where LTS Forge decides otherwise in writing.

Payment must be made on time. If any amount is past due, LTS Forge has the right, without further notice and without liability, to suspend your firm's account, remove access to all projects, reports and review memos, withhold any report or memo, and stop all work, including checks and engineer reviews in progress, until every past due amount is paid in full. An account more than 30 days past due may be closed, and its projects and reports removed, after written notice. Suspension does not reduce or delay any amount owed.

8. The tool belongs to LTS Forge

LTS Forge owns Pre-Con Assist, its methods, calculations, data, software, report layouts and everything in it. You own the project information you enter and the drawings and specifications you upload. You confirm you have the right to upload them, and you let LTS Forge use them only to set up and check that project. They are kept with the project and deleted when you remove them or the project. While your account is in good standing, you may use reports and review memos for the project they were made for. You will not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, share access to, or build a competing product from the service or any part of it.

9. Your account

Seats are per person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for everything done under your account. Your firm's projects are visible to your firm and to LTS Forge staff checking or reviewing them. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

10. Changes, ending and law

We may change these terms. When we do, you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in, and you cannot keep using the service without accepting it. Either side may end the account at any time; fees already due stay due, and sections 3 to 8 continue after it ends. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, and any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts in Colorado.
